Ken & Liisa

We are originally from Connecticut and have been married for about 30 years. Ken was owner and president of a general contracting firm that built some of the most beautiful homes in Fairfield and Westchester counties.  Liisa also worked for the firm after leaving her career in advertising.  

Our family spent 14 summers cruising aboard Incentive, a Sabre 362.  We are very blessed to have two fantastic children who currently live and work in New York City.  We hope they will be able to join us from time to time on Altair.   Being unable to see them for extended periods will be one of the most difficult parts of our journey. 

Our home port is now Alta, Utah.  We are ardent skiers and hikers. Skiing has always been a big part of our family life.  For the next few years we’ll be aboard Altair and on the move, but we plan to sneak back to Little Cottonwood Canyon once in a while to enjoy the greatest snow on earth.
