Tuesday, December 20th
Today we are anchored in Falmouth Harbor, waiting to head into Catamaran Marina to our slip. The “Cat Club” is full of OWR boats. Altair will be there through Christmas and the New Year.
I sadly have to report that our friend and crew member, Hank, has informed us he is leaving Altair. While in Provincetown this past summer he met a lady walking along the breakwater. They’ve been in touch ever since and saw each other over Thanksgiving. He has decided that he is in love and wants to make a go of it! While this is devastating news for us, we are grateful for the time he has given us and very happy for them.
So, another obstacle to overcome. The search is on for a new crew member!
